Penn State Policies & Conduct

This chapter will cover information about what is expected of you as a new Penn State student. It is important to treat your new college campus and the surrounding community with respect. Penn State is deeply committed to creating a safe living and learning environment for all students. Your actions and behaviors not only reflect on YOU, but on the entire Penn State community. We want all students to contribute to a healthy and safe campus community.

Specifically, this chapter will cover:

• Penn State Code of Conduct related to alcohol and drug use
• The sanctions applied when a student is found responsible for violating the Code of Conduct
• Penn State’s Anti-Hazing Policy including the definition of hazing and how to report it
